Data Mesh Powered by Interoperable Standards at Velsera
Introduction
Our Seven Bridges Core Platform connects users to a vast collection of diverse datasets, allowing exploration of novel questions quickly and reducing the time and cost of discovery. These datasets cover a wide range of DNA/RNA sequencing strategies, as well as proteomics, metabolomics, immunoassays, sensor data, and imaging. This broad access allows researchers to gain valuable insights into cancer, birth defects, aging, and various vascular, pulmonary, and sleep disorders.
But bringing together all this data didn’t just happen overnight. We are building on Velsera’s strong history of collaboration with the scientific and biopharma community, and our leadership in global standards for data interoperability. Standards for data access were crucial for Velsera to implement the Seven Bridges Core Platform infrastructure that exists today—a platform for secure, controlled and scalable data access.
In this paper, we’ll describe Velsera’s investment and leadership in bioinformatics standards resulting in greater data access for you, give an example of just what we mean by “connecting to data”, and explain how connected data can accelerate the drug discovery process while maintaining GxP compliance and data security.
