Meet the speaker:
Aaron Wenzel is a Scientific Engagement Manager at Velsera. He holds a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from Ohio State University, where he utilized NGS data alongside population genetic and phylogenetic methods to study evolutionary dynamics in closely related plant species. Aaron has experience as a research scientist specializing in NGS metagenomics experiments and CLIA/CAP-certified testing. He joined Seven Bridges Genomics (now Velsera) as a Scientific Engagement Manager in 2021, helping customers achieve their research goals with Velsera's portfolio of informatics solutions.
